Cette rivi\u00e8re de montagne coule sur une distance de <strong>82km<\/strong> before flowing into Lake Serre Pon\u00e7on. Its main tributary is the Ubayette which takes its source from Lake Lauzanier at the Col de Larche followed by two other tributaries the Bachelard which arrives straight from the Col d&#039;Allos and the Rio de la Blanche du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laverq.net\/\">Laverq valley<\/a>. We count <strong>72 tributaries on the Ubaye<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le d\u00e9partement des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, <strong>the Ubaye river<\/strong> traverse quatorze communes\u00a0: Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, La Condamine-Ch\u00e2telard, Jausiers, Enchastrayes, Faucon-de Barcelonnette, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ville-barcelonnette.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Barcelonnette<\/a>, Saint-Pons, Uvernet-Fours, Les Thuiles, M\u00e9olans-Revel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lauzetubaye.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Le Lauzet-Ubaye<\/a>, Saint-Vincent-les-Forts, Le Sauze-du-Lac, La Br\u00e9ole.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group texte-simple is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Le d\u00e9bit de la <strong>Ubaye river<\/strong> conna\u00eet des variations saisonni\u00e8res en suivant un r\u00e9gime nivo-pluvial typique. Au printemps et en \u00e9t\u00e9, les hautes eaux sont principalement dues \u00e0 la fonte des neiges, ce qui entra\u00eene une <strong>increase in average monthly flow from May to June<\/strong>, with a level between 40 and 150 m3\/s (the maximum being reached in June). This period ends in July with a flow of 20 m3\/s, followed by a rapid drop which leads to a short low flow at the end of summer, with a flow of 12 m3\/s in August and September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In autumn, precipitation in the form of rain increases the flow rates<\/strong>, with a monthly average of 20m3\/s and 30 m3\/s in October and November respectively.
