Organizing a Family Hydrospeed outing <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to our whitewater base in Lauzet-Ubaye<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome you to our base at village of Lauzet-Ubaye<\/strong>, between Gap and Barcelonnette, at the time reserved in advance. You will find a parking space on site, at the top of the small climb to Crazy Water. For large vehicles, parking is available below our base, just along the D 900 road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are ahead ? Take advantage of our original eco-base<\/strong> and relax in our hammocks and small outdoor lounges. Our reception area is an unusual site with ecological constructions, with dry toilets, physto-purification and solar shower. Coffee will be offered to you at our little refreshment bar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Crazy Water team will give you a wetsuit in your size and the rest of the equipment: vest, helmet, fins and the hydrospeed board. The neoprene suit is reinforced at the legs, very thick to keep you warm in the river and specially designed for whitewater swimming. Once equipped, we access the start of the Ubaye river route, with our Crazy 9-seater mini-bus.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

What physical ability must a child have to do Hydrospeed?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

He must obviously be a good swimmer, dynamic and in good physical condition. It is preferable that the child already has experience using fins in a swimming pool or at sea. The river guide leaves himself the right to choose whether or not to accompany a family in Hydrospeed, when one of the children is too large. little. Where is the Hydrospeed Family course?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The start of the legendary Ubaye Hydrospeed course is 6 km above our Crazy Water Rafting whitewater base, in Lauzet. This is the route which begins at Longe Fessol, to a place called La Source, in the village of Lauzet. We are therefore ideally located and avoid long shuttle journeys. More precisely, we find ourselves at the arrival of river course<\/a>, at the level of the Roman bridges, close to the mouth with Lake Serre-Pon\u00e7on.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

When to practice Hydrospeed on Ubaye?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whitewater swimming is a great way to spend time together, have fun and create lasting memories. To fully enjoy this activity as a family, it is recommended to ppractice whitewater swimming between early and mid-summer<\/strong>, when the water level and conditions are suitable.
