Established for 13 years in this heavenly mountain corner, we have created an original rafting base where you will not be left without surprises! Near the Ubaye river, at the entrance to the small village of Lauzet-Ubaye,<\/strong> we are a medium-sized, very friendly Rafting base. Passionate about our profession, we want to give you a magical moment, whether at the reception level at our ecological rafting base, or during your whitewater descent on the Ubaye.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Solar energy<\/strong> stored during the day of Rafting on the Ubaye will be returned to you in the form of hot water and light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will also be able to follow the natural cycle of water regeneration: from its recovery (rainwater), to phyto-purification through a bed of reeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mystery of dry toilets will no longer hold any secrets for you when you place sawdust and shavings in our composting toilets. More details on our dry toilets, to protect our nature in the Southern Alps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Called here, the \u201cCrazy toilets\u201d, the dry toilets <\/strong>are toilets that do not use water. What acts as a flush is in fact sawdust, which we collect from the M\u00e9olans Revel sawmill, near Barcelonnette. Just drop a ladle of sawdust and it's over, nature does its work. Once the bin is full, it must be emptied and it goes into the compost and turns into soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our \u201cCrazy toilets\u201d are equipped with a urinal and a urinette. The urinette allows women to pee standing up, an ingenious and very practical system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our toilets are installed in the middle of our flarch forest<\/strong>, this allows you to admire the lush vegetation of Lauzet-Ubaye. These are incredible toilets, not to be missed on a rafting base during your stay in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And our one-of-a-kind solar shower<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Come and discover the most beautiful ecological shower<\/strong> of the Barcelonnette valley, not to mention the world! The water from the shower is connected to the drinking water system of the village of Lauzet-Ubaye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word solar means that you need sunshine, logic! In fact, our shower is heated by the powerful sun of the Barcelonnette region, thanks to a water heater and a well-oriented solar panel. In about 4 hours, the water temperature becomes very pleasant and it is a pleasure to take a shower heated by mother nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our shower is located in the middle of the forest, in a small barrel cabin, which makes this moment of relaxation a bit unusual and rejuvenating. And believe us, back at the Rafting base, after your activity in the river, taking an outdoor shower heated by the sun is an extraordinary moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our unusual accommodation in Ubaye<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In order to complement our passion for originality and our love for nature, we have installed bubble accommodation in the trees <\/strong>within our Crazy Water Rafting whitewater base. We called them Crazy Bulle accommodation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those are transparent tents suspended through the larch trees<\/strong>. It\u2019s an incredible experience of unusual accommodation where you sleep in a floating bubble in the trees. In this completely atypical place, you can enjoy a unique moment as a couple, with friends or family<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our unusual accommodation is located above the Crazy Water Rafting base and blends into the original world of the place and the mountainous landscape of the Barcelonnette valley. Les Bulles being close to the Ubaye river, you will be able to hear the sound of the rapids which will await you the next morning after breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
