Information on the Ubaye Discovery Route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Du village du Martinet jusqu\u2019au Lauzet Ubaye,<\/strong> vous d\u00e9couvrez la puissance de la rivi\u00e8re avec un Rafting instructor<\/strong> (guide) qualified. It's a unique course where you swim in refreshing water and flirt with rocks, making the descent really fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During 9 Km (1h30 of navigation)<\/strong>, you appreciate the magnificent setting of the valley, as well as all its rapids (class III to IV). Stops are planned during the route: swimming in the river, discovery of the waterfall and rock jumping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should you plan for the Rafting course on the Ubaye?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We organize the entire activity: shuttle to and from the river, guide support and complete rafting equipment. You just have to plan your swimsuit and towel<\/strong>. If you have water shoes or other sports shoes, it's good to take them, otherwise we can lend you some. Go Pro type cameras are allowed, but at your own risk... the route is very eventful. We have Go Pro hooks on some of our helmets if you wish to use them. Think about scrunchies for long hair!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rest of your personal effects will remain at the Crazy Water base or in your vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

What you need to know forrafting activity<\/a> on the Ubaye<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to our whitewater base<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Le rendez-vous se fait sur notre base \u00e0 Crazy Wate<\/strong>r au village du Lauzet-Ubaye 04340,<\/strong> at the previously reserved time. You can park in the upper car park for normal vehicles and the lower car park for large vehicles (on the edge of the D 900).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are ahead ? Take advantage of our eco-base<\/strong> accueillante, des hamacs, des salons d\u2019ext\u00e9rieurs et laissez-nous vous offrir un caf\u00e9 \u00e0 notre Crazy buvette !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once at reception, the Crazy Water team gives you a neoprene suit, in your size, and the rest of the equipment: vest, helmet, etc. Equipped from head to toe, we then take the mini-bus to at the start of the raft course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go on an adventure on the Ubaye in Rafting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After an explanatory briefing from your river guide, the activity begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the program : 1h30 river descent<\/strong> sensational, sailing on the Raft with the paddles, splashing and laughing. During the discovery descent, to make the most of your water experience, we organize stops at the edge of the river, in this wild nature: swimming activity in the river, walk to the waterfall and rock jumping. All of this, supervised by your river guide<\/strong>, specialist in Ubaye. He will know how to give you a magical moment, with incredible sensations, while being in perfect safety on the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final bouquet of this descent: the narrow and deep throats\u00a0du Lauzet<\/a><\/strong>, passage sous le Pont Romain<\/a>, site historique de la vall\u00e9e de Barcelonnette. \u00c0 vivre absolument !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well done Rafters!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When the route arrives at the village of Lauzet, the mini-bus picks you up and takes you back to the Crazy Water base (5 minutes journey). We can finally get dry and collect your belongings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before leaving, you will be able to view the photos taken by a professional photographer during the descent. It is possible to buy them and leave with a photo file of the entire activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A mini refreshment bar is at your disposal to debrief after this great rafting adventure! You can take advantage of our Crazy Water eco-base<\/strong> and relax in the hammocks or small outdoor lounges. In the village of Lauzet, you can eat in the various restaurants and snack bars, and swim in the magnificent little Lauzet lake. It's a perfect place to end the day in style!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
